The progress of construction work for Thiruvottiyur Government Polytechnic College and Government Industrial Training Institute was reviewed. These Rs. 46.50-crore educational facilities are being built to provide quality technical education to students in North Chennai. The polytechnic college will offer various technical programs, and the ITI will provide vocational training. These institutions are expected to be completed by February 2026 and will significantly boost educational opportunities in the region. The projects are part of the government’s commitment to providing quality education and skill development in economically backward areas.
