TNRERA specifies extension fees based on extension type and duration:

– Force Majeure Extension (Section 6): 10% of registration fee, maximum 1 year

– 1st Extension (Section 7(3)): 20% of registration fee, 1 year maximum

– Subsequent Extensions: 20% of registration fee per extension, 6 months maximum

Extensions under Section 7(3) are limited to 6 months if previously extended under Section 6. The Authority may consider extensions beyond 6 months based on project merits and stakeholder interests.
