The Chief Minister inaugurated the Anna Marriage Hall complex and laid the foundation stone for two new government schools at Kolathur constituency. The Anna Marriage Hall is a 25.72-crore project designed to cater to marriage and event functions for economically weaker sections of society. It features modern amenities and can accommodate up to 435 guests. The complex includes an additional 800-seat auditorium and administrative offices. Two new school projects worth 17.47 crore include a Government Model Higher Secondary School and an Industrial Training Institute, marking significant investment in educational infrastructure in the North Chennai region.
